We are honoured to announce that Neale Daniher AO will be joining us as our keynote speaker for National Property Managers Day 2026, held in Melbourne on Friday 24 July, 10am–2pm.

Neale Daniher AO is the co-founder of FightMND, Australia’s leading charity dedicated to funding research and improving care for people living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) – a terminal illness with no effective treatment or cure. Since launching in 2014, FightMND has invested more than $138 million into research and care initiatives, accelerating the journey toward better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.

Diagnosed with MND in 2013, Neale has faced this disease with extraordinary courage and determination. With the support of his family, he has turned personal adversity into a national movement of hope. The iconic Big Freeze at the MCG, which Neale helped create, has grown from a $2 million campaign into a phenomenon raising more than $20 million each year and uniting Australians in the fight against MND.

A former AFL player with Essendon and coach of the Melbourne Demons, Neale draws on his team-based experiences to inspire collaboration, resilience and perspective. His leadership has galvanised both the sporting community and the nation behind a shared mission: to fight, to fund, and to find a cure.

Defying the average life expectancy of just 27 months, Neale has lived with MND for more than a decade. His authenticity, strength and relentless drive continue to inspire individuals, organisations and communities to take action and create lasting impact.

At our National PM Day Brunch, Neale will deliver a powerful keynote, sharing his philosophy on navigating life’s toughest challenges head-on. He explores how shifting from “Why me?” to “What’s next?” unlocks purpose, clarity and resilience.

Following Neale’s keynote, he will be joined on stage by his daughter and FightMND Executive Director, Bec Daniher, for an intimate conversation about their family’s journey, the progress achieved over the last decade, and the lessons that continue to shape their mission.
